I gather youβve been busy recently and havenβt had time to draw or reply to comments, so Iβll make this brief. I know that critique is appreciated, but I believe what shouldβve been said on this drawing by other people was said. However, I would like to mention that I admire the more cleanly pieces more than your pencil works. Everything seems much softer and just "pops" more, at least for me. Other than her hands being a little small in proportion (though, nonetheless is a common trait on a bigger person, though they seem just a tad smaller.) everything is just Zen with this piece.

Pleas disregard the print request i set. It was an accident.

Le sigh.
How I envy the cleanliness of your work.
Wonderful work though. Great shape and definition through such minimal line work.
I do wonder how long those heels will last under such strain though.

The cleanness is a little deceptive, because it's only pencil work that has been edited a little on Photoshop. There aren't any stray lines on this original because I sketched on a different sheet and did a light transfer onto this sheet. Thanks for your feedback.

Both 1 and 2 share in curvey forms and how clothing, maybe more to the point, the fabics themself stretch over each wonderous curve and sexy buldge.
HOWEVER; 1 is in a form that suggests charcoal. Only my opinion-but you asked ^_- and thus seems rather defused and smuggy by it's very nature.
2 is crystal clear in defination. Her hips flair in a very 3-d fashion. So much I'm tempted to try a squeeze ^_^ Her very full and beautiful backside fits into her hips exactly right. So the seam gives way, where it logically should.
Her cute "tiny" belly pouch overhangs in a mostly supported by her pants-kind-of-fashion, with the zipper driven down in a clean, clear line-of-sight. Again, very orderly and logical to my mind's eye.
I LOVE her bellybutton, BTW, such a simple small detail, but it adds in such realism to all her surrounding curves. It is, the center, afterall ^_^
Her breasts are very understated, and yet, taken as a whole, with the view of how compressed they are currently, amazingly suggestive and defining curvy

I'm not much for critique, I'd rather support then tear down. And your art ALWAYS brings thought and reflection. You underestimate yourself ^_^

Wow. I'm glad I asked. Your thoughtfulness is evident and appreciated. You should always feel welcome to post critique here; after all, thoughtful critique indicates time spent thinking. And I'm glad my work was worth that much thought on your part!
I'm glad you liked the hip/seam/butt issue, as it was a nagging point in my mind (and others'. And yes, the Curves 1 was mostly charcoal I think.

To contradict the prior comments, I whole heartedly approve of exaggerated behinds! You're the master of such things, and I applaud this work! Her proportions are wildly delicious and I'm quite fond of the way her hair curls at the ends. Topped off with that sassy sort of look on her face, she is certainly a lovely vision to behold!

I think if butts in real life were both exaggerated like this AND shapely, the world would be a better place. Thanks for your words!

Very well done! Hmm..if i could offer any critique, if would be that her butt looks a little odd, like it's not part of her hips, what with the kinda angle between her butt and her thigh, but I'm probably wrong Amazing work!

I see what you're talking about and I'm not sure how to fix it. The seam in the jeans makes a world of difference in this case.

While understandably more cartoonish than realistic, it seems to me that the lady's bottom seems a bit too extreme in proportions. Was this intentional? Also, did you have a background or setting in mind with this?

SpratFA In reply to Shugamri [2008-03-11 06:00:34 +0000 UTC]
Hmmm... Well, her lower half is definitely supposed to be large, so I do think the proportions were as I intended. And I guess I don't actually have a context in mind for this, no...
