Personality: Barbary enjoys resting in the sun and absorbing its rays. Due to her prickly skin, her siblings don’t like playing with her. She’s very close to her parents. Tunc’s armor protects him from it and Yew understands isolation because of her constant summoning of blizzards (although Barbary is the least resilient to cold of all of Yew’s children). She tries to deal with her loneliness by forcing herself to start conversation.
Markings: Her skin is made of the same substance as cactus skin.

At some point when I was drawing Ponderosa, I thought it'd be cool to do a cactus themed Sandshrew, and when there was a blend option in Yew and Tunc's second clutch, I went for it (initially, the thought was doing a mix breed while dropping a type, but I'll have other opportunities).
