My contest entry for =aquatii of her character Wisp.
I couldn't resist throwing my favorite professor in there as well! >w< The black wolf is supposed to be Snape. I figured that I better animalize him, because I don't know many dogs that attend the human Hogwarts... So he's glaring at Wisp right now for setting her cauldron on fire. That wasn't supposed to happen. Even your favorite subjects can get confusing sometimes. Or you forget to pay attention...
Phew, finally finished. I think this is my best piece yet. ;w; Only took about 15 hours to complete. Pshhhh....I'm just a really slow artist. I've got to admit though, even for all the hassle, it was a ton of fun!!! I really enjoy painting fur like that, it looks so nice in the end. And aarrgg, that background. Okay, okay, that part didn't take very long. I kind of cheated. >.> I traced the background and cauldron from pictures taken by me at the Harry Potter Studios. But I only traced the general shapes; I did all of the coloring, shading, labeling, etc. on my own. I hope that's alright.
