[FULL VIEW, OR I HURT YOU]

This is, by far, the most detailed project I've worked on to date, and started before I actually had considered using separate layers to do shading. (which means... three weeks ago? Not sure, i actually just started doing pixel stuff seriously last month, so I'm kinda trying to figure out how to do this art form more effectively as I go along )

First things first, the photo I used as a guideline for the main sprite is the following:

The bottom picture is just the main sprite without the background stuff, because... well... I put a lot of effort into it <_<

For a random tangent, the shackles are meant to be mental/magical (left) and physical (right) restraints. I didn't think it through much more than that, but there's that

Just to cover the basics of the image itself, this is *not* a photomanip, the reference photo was used only for outlines and to give a guideline for how the shading works. This was all done on an individual-pixel basis save for three things: a gradient for the light in the background, a gaussian blur on the moon, and a hand-done blur on the red symbols. Everything else I was staring at one pixel at a time for at least three full days. So someone remind me not to do something this big again, because it'll probably mean my dropping out of school o__o

But in all seriousness this was a lot of fun to make and great practice, not to mention which I am quite in love with WinterWolf's (*girltripped 's) gallery, so this is quite fully gifted to them and the beautiful work they are presently and always have been dedicated to
