4. Why is such a sad song my favourite? Well, probably because of what i see behind the lyrics. This song has stayed with me for a while. I remember trying to translate the song with my reaaaly bad japanese skills (though now there are quite a lot of translations) and that probably made me love the song even more. The song is very sad, yet there is a ray of hope there, for them to be together again, overcoming all their problems, all the small lies that slowly grew over time. Even though it's a sad song, I listen to it everytime I feel like my world is falling apart and it cheers me up and helps me face the problems of real life.
5. for me music is something to help me escape the harsh reality for a few minutes and help me face it with new vigor.

Now, this song means a lot to me, and not because o f the song itself. It means a lot to me because my dad always sang this for me when I was little, and I always got me to fall asleep, even when nothing else would. His dad did the same for him. This song has been tied to my family ever since it first came out on the radio, and I love it for that, and that is why it is my favorite song, because of the memories that it holds for my family.

Music is a form of art. Art is a way to express your emotions, thus music is an expression of emotions using sound. It is also a form of communication and understanding. There is music everywhere. You just have to listen for it.

3. Lyrics (please note these lyrics have some small spelling errors and such to them, the full version of Fire was /just/ released and there aren't any other websites with the English lyrics yet so there's bound to be some grammatical errors)
4. This was actually a really hard decision for me. SHINee in general is a beautiful group of five men who have changed my life drastically and I can't explain how much influence they've had on my life. But it came down to me choosing Fire, or their song 1000 Years Always By Your Side. Ultimately 1000 Years is good but it's extremely sad to watch the video to it and seems to make more people cry, whereas Fire is more uplifting and beautiful. Fire still made me cry in the sheer beauty of it and the ideas are rather similar but they are different. In both songs the five members of SHINee are helping other people, in 1000 Years they are heaven's angels, in Fire they're angels in a more common sense. Fire's video focuses around candles and shows that through the loss of someone you love, it doesn't mean you've really lost them. They'll always be with you and you always have people who love you, and the members of SHINee are set out to prove how much love there really is in the world. Some of their other songs are more peppy and fun and don't have as much meaning, but Fire, which was released March 12th 2013, but Fire shows a deeper and more meaningful side to their songs. I cried at the sheer amount of light and beauty I saw through this video. I don't consider myself a fan of SHINee, I'm set on one day being more than that, a friend if you will. The deep impact all their music has made on me is great, and Fire has simply topped it off. Jonghyun, who ends the song on a solo part, has all of the strongest parts of this song and basically he makes it what it is, but if any one of them were missing, SHINee wouldn't be SHINee. I can't explain to you my love for these guys. It's more than a flame or a passion, it's a dedication. And Fire shows that successfully.
5. Music is my life and my soul, and I am shooting to be in K-Pop music entertainment myself, therefore I am practicing my singing and dancing and I know I'll get there one day.

4. This song is my favourite simply because I can listen to it in any mood and it manages to turn it positive. I can listen to it when I need to cry, when I'm angry, when I'm happy, whatever, and it always manages to soothe me. I can listen to it on repeat as well, since it blends so well with itself, and so as a result it has over 1400 plays while the next most played song in my itunes has almost 900. That might seem like a lame reason, but it makes that song my absolute locked-in favourite hands down.
5. Music is expression of feelings in a way that can translate throughout cultures and languages so long as you take away the words themselves and just have the music and the feelings, making it a universal communicator.

4. Reason: This is probably the only song that my entire family will willingly listen to when it comes on the radio. I find it to be beyond awesome- its very catchy, upbeat, and has a great video. I also like that its not like a majority of the other "popular" songs on the radio, that are all about relationships, heartbreak, and sex, and the song/video shows that you dont need a crapton of money or fancy clothes to look good :3

4.) Knee Deep by Zac Brown Band Feat. Jimmy Buffett always puts a smile on my face. It’s catchy, happy-go-lucky, upbeat lyrics, with a great tune. And there is no mention of hoes, drugs, autotune, long drawn out break ups with ex’s, money, or sex! It might be considered a tad bit too country for some (I’m not a huge fan of either country tbh). I’d love if my “only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair” and if I could "put the world away for a minute, Pretend I don't live in it, Sunshine gonna wash my blues away”.

5.) It doesn't matter that my international friends aren't good with English and I'm not very good in their language, music makes a connection and can be enjoyed and shared even if you don't quite know what the singer is saying!
