Eeps, my boy Emmet just yelled at me. ( fav.me/d6sbteh ) Apparently he doesn't want to share his name even if it is spelled differently and therefore has a different meaning. Oh well.
So upon further consideration :
Name - Lathrop, it's meaning is humbler by far meaning of 'clay like' or 'from the farmstead with the barn.' Its usually a family name but it fits his stately walk but his humble eyes. ... plus now Emmet will love me again.

Ok, there's a reason I swear ... Β the marking name Dolorn makes me thing DeLorian which makes me think Back to the Future. I thought about naming him Doc, but it didn't fit so instead I went with Emmett, as in Doctor Emmett Lathrop Brown. Also the name Emmett means "all-containing; universal; strength" which is a hell of an auspicious name so I liked it even more.Β
