Caoimhe suddenly stops short and starts to snort. In front of her is a xare, with her head lowered, horns forward. Your little entourage has started her and she is not happy. She means to fight! But Caoimhe isn't as strong as she could be.
In order to beat the xare and prove your strength to her, you must raise Caoimhe's stats! If you can get ten different people to post an encouraging comment on her page as well as get her total views up to 100 by Monday the 26th, you will have bested her and she will be yours.

I watch, nervous and fidgeting, as the battle plays out. I neither want my Kalan hurt, nor do I want to lose the chance of obtaining the Xare. I rub Aski, who has joined me and now stands at my side, between the ears. He snorts and pricks his ears. Verheizen puts her front paws against my leg and I pick her up, cradling her in one arm while I stroke Aski with the other. Terence presses against my leg and watches the scene as well. We all wait in anticipation of the outcome of this battle, I hoping most of all that Caoimhe comes out okay.

Caoimhe trumpets her challenge and charges at the xare. Their horns crash together and you wince at the noise. Caoimhe pushes the xare backwards, forcing her to re-align her legs, which proves too much for the xare. Caoimhe pushes her over and declares herself the victor.

I heave a sigh of relief and step forward to lay a hand on Caoimhe's neck. I make sure she's all right, then rub her nose and touch my forehead lightly to hers. "Good job, girl," I murmur, then turn to the Xare and lower myself to my knees slowly before her. I extend my hand, making sure she sees it, and place my hand on her nose very carefully. "Hey, girl. Hi. No hard feelings, right? Shh, you're okay. I think I'll call you....Muirne. It's an Irish name, and it means 'high-spirited,' which you definitely are."
