Used to change the nature of a creature's fur. 

*Breeder beware if used with a Mystery Markings potion; occasionally the potions mix in unpredictable, non-replicable ways. 

Can be used with:
- Dawnbird: results not known. (Silkie)
- Feral Avis: will result in longer mane and tail. (Shaggy)
- Knopfleri: will result in a ridge of silky hair along spine. (Fancy)
- Cyrii: will result in a shortened tail and modified facial features. (Lynx)
- Ikeda: results not known. (Showbred)
- Dwarf Cyrii: will result in a longer coat. (Fuzzy)
- Dwarf Lhedis: will result in a longer coat. (Shaggy)
- Xare: will result in a thicker coat. (WinterCoat)
- Xhire: results not known. (Tarpan)

when used in a xhire/xare breeding what happens if you dont use a gender potion and get a xhire instead? would the potion just be wasted?

you know, I never thought about that. 
Now I'm torn between saying that the Instagrow would also work as a BabyG potion (because it's more expensive I don't think people would abuse this), or saying that the potion would be returned if it couldn't be used. 
Really leaning towards the first option just for the logical sense that potions are drunk before breeding and affect the baby that way.

would the added in BabyG only work for xhire/xare breedings then? or would using an instagrow for a dwarf cyrii/lhedis and whatnot just result in a baby girl too?

Yes, it would only work in the xare/xhire, or male shaggy mutations would be much rare.

With this potion, if used when breeding 2 winged non-fuzzy dwarf cyrii, would it make a fuzzy winged or just a fuzzy based on the mutation rules?

Just a fuzzy. 
The winged fuzzies will always be under the strict breeding rules.
