When Microsoft announced the XBox One, the specs were very restrictive: there would be no free used games (if you got a game from a friend or a used game store, you would have to pay an activation fee that was pretty much the cost of a new game), the console needs an active internet connection at all times while playing a game, regardless of whether you are playing online or not, it is not backwards compatible at all and the kinect would be on all the time, watching and listening (there was something about having to pay a surcharge on a rented movie if a fifth person walked into the room, but I'm not sure).
Sony heard the fans complaining and decided not to do any of that with their new console and the gaming world rejoiced all over social media.

Lmao. I'd heard about the new x-box not allowing games to be shared, but that was just awesome xD
