Description
Type: BreedingUsed during breeding to mimic the markings of a different pet owned by the user.
This potion only works in correspondence with Standard markings from a different species marking set; the markings being mimicked must not be a standard marking for the species being bred. In addition, the pet being mimicked must be owned by the breeder using the potion.
Alternately, if the breeder wishes to mimic a pet that they do not own, the owner of the pet being mimicked must approve the breeder's form in the same time frame.
The breeder may specify if only one of the original markings transfer or if they all do. Must be specified in the form.
Pet being mimicked must also be listed in the form.
Cost: x200Si or $2USD

Can you mimic a hybrids markings with this potion? Or are their markings not considered standard?

It depends on the hybrid's markings - some are derivative from the standard markings of one of their parents.

So if they're a standard of the parents, they can by mimicked? For example, could I use the potion to mimic Kemat's Pharos markings, since they're standard for Garden Avis?

given that a person has multiple Mimic Potions could they use multiples in one breeding to mimic more than one marking in a single offspring?

Would a mimic potion work on Limited Edition standard markings too? (like could I use a mimic to get a fire/shadow marking)

Yes it would work for that because the event markings are standard. C:

Can the pet being mimicked be owned by someone else if that person gives their approval on the breeding deviation?

Awesome! Also, could you use this potion to mimic a custom pet, or is it only able to mimic standard pets?

So if I'm breeding Xoals and I want to get a python (feral avis) marking on my xoal I could use this potion provided that I have a python marked feral avis?
