So I was looking up what makes fire blue and it has to do with gas molecules becoming excited and ionized, which gives the flames a blue appearance. So I would like to name this beautiful little girl Ion.

There is shading, it's just not typical. C;
With the glowing aspects of the firebirds, I opted for a shadow layer that I could readily change the colour of. So, you see the slightly different blue between the primaries and secondaries? That's part of the shading.

I keep stalking my birb as if it's been anywhere close to two weeks yet. D: At 1 day 10 hours after submission I thought it had been two days, legitimately thought it had been two days. 12 hours later I apparently legitimately thought it had been four days and it was still at 1 day 22 hours. I think I'm a little too excited for this girl. ;o;
