I have some questions about Lonan's markings (this applies to his parents as well).
Which marking is the "Split" marking since I dunno if it's just me but I'm not seeing it? Unless split means the top half of him is green and the bottom half is silver/grey.
Is he oooone little white feather on his wing passed down from the small white feathers on Lieven's wings and the yellow ones on Loy's? Also does that marking have a name?
Is the peacock eye on the tail considered a unique marking? It's listed as a marking on Lieven but it's not anywhere on Loy or Lonan, and I don't see it anywhere on the standard chart.

The "Split" marking is that the feathers and the fur are different colours - the feather colouring is where the marking it (so the fur colour would be the base). I have only listed it on the newer lines (same thing with gryphiones) because it wasn't a distinguished marking in the past.Β
And yes - that would be the Alula, but because the new lines don't really have a defined alula, I just went with the first feather above the secondaries. It's on the other side too, but it's not really distinguishable.Β
Again yes, the EyeSpot is not a standard marking (simply because it would be too many colours for a standard marking. They were originally going to be standard, but that was before I moved to .psd files. C:

I think I was confused about the EyeShadow and EyeSpot.
I thought the "EyeShadow" marking above the eye was the EyeSpot you listed, and that the Peacock Eye Spot wasn't listed at all, leaving me very very confused. xD;
And Madi told me that it was called Alula. I like that name. =u=

I'll be naming this boy Lonan for several reasons~
It makes them all have L names x3
It sounds like a combination between his parents names, Lo(y) and Liev(e/an). C:
This may sound strange, but Lonan actually means "cloud," because for some reason when I first saw him, despite the green and brown all over him, my eyes went directly to his grey lower body and for some reason I thought of the phrase, "All clouds have a silver lining." In a sense I guess it makes him seem like the silver lining of a cloud, so naming him something meaning cloud seems fitting. C:

As a note to myself: Lonan is very modest in nature, and where his creative ideas are often stolen, it seems he couldn't care less. While he prefers to work in groups and with friends on projects and does well functioning in groups, he finds he often needs alone time just to enjoy the silence. Lonan is sensitive to the feelings of others, and is very cooperative, courteous, and considerate, being a very well-mannered gryphon. Being soft-spoken and friendly, but not shy, almost everyone likes and can get along with him.
He loves to slip away and find nice places to sunbathe, and he enjoys having novels read to him since he can't read himself. He enjoys the solitude so he can dream and develop idealistic understandings, because he loves to study and analyze everything for the sake of gaining insight, knowledge, and wisdom. He loves working out complicated problems, as he finds them a challenge, and while he is reserved and withdrawn regularly, he is very laid back and overall, simply a friendly Prairie Gryphon who would rather be a listener than a talker.
