A funny looking creature darts out onto your path, startling both of your fleres. They shy back to your feet. The creature, which looks something like a Xoal but bigger and definitely quicker, lifts her head and looks down at you, as if daring you to blink and see if she was still there when you opened you eyes again. She snorts.
You have decision to make: she is not even close to your original query, will you try and catch her instead of continuing?

I realized quite awhile back when I got my Mustela Mikri custom that this would leave me with two different "Bullet"s. I can't very well change his name as he's also a character of mine on another site, the pet ferret of a muse of mine I play on tumblr roleplay. He was named Bullet for a very specific reason and I can't just change that.
Soooo I'm going to keep her name The Judge, of course, but for her nickname, can I change it to Snipe? Snipe as in Sniper Rifle. xD;

As Dapple and Hotfoot crawl back towards me I keep my focus on the new creature. Her snorting makes me smirk. The challenge? Accepted. I like her natural tones and she's definitely an interesting creature. I don't know if talking will make her flee or not, but I take my chances and keep the smirk on my face as I talk calmly. I keep my eyes focused on her though I don't move as I speak. "Hello..Quite the interesting creature you are. I'll accept your challenge. Perhaps if I can catch you you'll become a friend, eh? Go home with me maybe? I won't name you unless I do by chance win this battle, but for now I'll call you Bullet as a nickname, due to the fact that you fly like a bullet you're so fast. Now then. Let's play this..game of yours. Your rules. I'll be fair. I have Hotfoot and Dapple here to help if you'd like them to join in on this little activity. So then. Your move. Let's go." I'm not one for scaring off creatures with sudden movements and I won't play this game unfairly, but, for the record I decide to slowly kneel on one knee, lowering myself in a submissive way to show I'm no better than her and, in fact, I respect her greatly.

She snorts at you again as if she is laughing at you. Never has anyone bowed to her before. Fought over her, yes, but never bowed. She wonders what she should do with you. A race? No, that wouldn't be fair. A game then. She quickly snatches Hotfoot and darts off into the snow covered plains.
Find Hotfoot and she will submit to you.
Hotfoot's thumbnail is hidden somewhere among the creatures of the Springs. Find the thumbnail and comment on the creature where he is.

My eyes narrow as she quickly takes Hotfoot from me and runs off. Dapple obviously has become frightened, but I'll do what I can to get Hotfoot back, and I quickly run after her after taking Dapple in my arms. I will find him and get him back.

A word of caution: should you not find Hotfoot in 16 hours, she will move him. If she moves him more than three times, you will lose and she will return to the Plains (you would still continue on your search for a creature).
