Description
This event will run from July 14 to August 4, but may be extended. Extended to August 6!

The Basis:
"Mikri" means pest and the title is very much deserved. This species family is remarkably good at getting into gardens and garbages to scavenge for food and other trinkets to take home to their burrows or nests. Several garden plots lay just south of the Shelter at the Springs, on the edge of the city of Iyore. These gardeners vary in their dedication, skills and, most importantly, their abilities to protect their precious plants from would-be thieves. No gardener wants their veggie patch looted before harvest time.

You will be able to enter one of your own mikri (any species; rodent, feline, lepus or mustela) into this event. The mikri you pick should stay active through the duration of the event; you can swap out, but any new mikri will start with 0 exp. Each mikri who enters and goes on at least five raids will earn the Turnip Thumper badge.

The Gardens:
The first garden, "The Patch", the furthest to the right, belongs to a newcomer to Iyore - he had pests back in his old city, but not to the same skill level as the mikris around Iyore. He is also fairly new to gardening and planted his plants fairly late into the season. His fence, a simple barbed-wire construction, will be easy to get through, but the bounty beyond will leave you wanting.

The second garden, "Family Love", the one in the middle, belongs to a family. They've gardened in the city for quite some time, but decided it was time to expand and have broken ground for a garden outside of the city. They are familiar with the amount of effort the mikris in the area will put in to get a good meal and have taken some precautions to protect their garden. The fence is solidly build of wood and some fresh digging might hint at a few snares buried in the dirt. The plants here are quite healthy.

The last garden, "NO TRESPASSERS", on the left, belongs to an old woman who is very protective of her garden - she is a highly skilled gardener and the quality of her plants is proof of her expertise. After many years of having her crop stolen, she has erected a chainlink fence to dissuade intruders. For those who persist in their efforts to steal her veggies, a laser grid awaits them inside the fence. She has been very secretive about what the laser system triggers...

The Method:
Once each calendar day, your mikri may sneak into one of the gardens for loot. Each time your mikri returns, they will gain 5 exp. Experience is required to move on to the next garden level and to bigger and better loot.
0 exp is required to enter The Patch.
25 exp is required to enter Family Love
60 exp is required to enter NO TRESPASSERS

The Loot:
Each time your mikri enters a garden, they have a chance to return with a variety of loot. The type of loot will depend on the garden you are visiting - the more protected the garden, the better the loot is going to be. The following is a list of what can be found in each garden and how many points each item is worth.

The Patch
- Debris (0), Seedling (1), Carrot (2), Lettuce (2)

Family Love
- Seedling (1), Carrot (2), Beans (2), Zucchini (3), Tomato (3), Corn (4)

NO TRESPASSERS
- Beans (2), Zucchini (3), Tomato (3), Potato (3), Corn (4), Pumpkin (4), Watermelon (5)

The Setbacks
But be careful! The more protected a garden is, the higher the chances are that your mikri will encounter a trap set up to protect the vegetables. Each time your mikri gets stuck in a trap, they lose experience points! On top of that, your mikri will drop whatever loot it found in order to escape. The following is a list of what traps are found in each garden and how many exp it will cost you when you encounter them.

The Patch
- Nothing. The dude's too relaxed to set traps.

Family Love
- Scarecrow (-2), Snare (-3)

NO TRESPASSERS
- Box Trap (-2), Snare (-3), ???/Laser Triggered Trap (-4)

The Prizes
At the end of the event, you will be able to trade your loot points for a variety of items; mikri exploration items, a slot in a secondary mikri breeding season, breeding talismans for event-exclusive markings, and standard/custom Maned Felines and Fairy Lepus. The prize pool will be posted near the end of the event. Some prizes may have limited quanities, depending on the popularity of the event.
