Guess: I am going to say that she is based on a pansy as well. If it was a male I would name him Johnny Jump-Up (a species of pansy, and one of my favorite plants)

I actually had to call my mom up about the markings, I think it is based on a flower and my mom use to grow them in her garden. I'm going to be very specific about it too since I have seen pictures of the flower with the coloration, once I was told what flower it was. She is based on a purple and orange pansy.
