Also because commenting more than once seems to be my thing (hurrdurrdurr) I have to say, I personally love these lines because I don't like the old ones. Where I know the old lines were popular and everyone else seemed to like them, the exact reason I don't go after the gryphiones or own any of them is because I don't like the lines. I dunno what it is, but I think on the old lines the face just..isn't cute to me. It's just not. xD I don't mean to be offensive, it's just not my style.
I think for these it's a much better fit and I can see the cat a lot more in this than I could in the previous lines, but as I said I have to agree with the anatomy problems this has shown that people are suggesting a fix to. Now personally I like the tail, but I do agree if you wanted you could have more than one tail mutation for these, one to look more like a cat, the other to look more like a lion or gryphon tail with the tuft at the end. I don't know if Gryphiones are supposed to be in a sense like gryphons where it's part eagle, but based on the bird aspect of it these seem more domestic than the other lines.
So, where the other lines I may have thought eagle/lion like with a gryphon, with these I think domestic cat/pigeon, or even I can see a little bit of an owl but that's nowhere close to an eagle. ono Now personally I love owls so that's a good thing but I'm not sure if you're trying to go for a specific kind of bird or not.
The back wing, I'll agree, is a bit too small. I understand the angle you're going for but even at that angle, the wing shouldn't look like it's at such a distance that it's detached.
The closer front leg is turned a bit funny and anatomically a leg shouldn't be able to turn that much unless you want to break the leg entirely, and the paw just seems a little derpy.
The back legs, I can see you're trying to go for a sitting about to jump kind of position but the legs seem a little short and like they might not be able to hold the weight of the body entirely.
As I said in the last comment I also think the face looks kind of flat and not as three dimensional as it should.
I think if these small anatomy errors could be fixed these lines would be perfect. I think they're adorable and wonderful and I really enjoy them compared to the other lines, which as I said, I didn't like at all.

I love this pose very much for the Gryphiones, though I do agree with =lizziecat1279 about the right wing being too small.

The right wing seems a bit small in comparison to the other wing. If the top of it was raised to be in line with the other (closer) wing then it ought to be fine ^^ Like, it can stay the same size, but with the angle that it's at it should be bigger.

this looks like it would be great for say a female or young gryphon. i think you should still keep the old lines that i saw, though. the old lines look more masculine, so i think using the new one for XX and old one for XY is a good way to use them.
but over all i like the new lineart; it's very cute!

Because constructive commentary is supposed to be honest: I loved it the moment I saw it, but I didn't get that it was a possible new lineart for gryphiones until I read the description.
It looks very different from the previous "version", which I really like, and I find this one adorable too, but it just doesn't look like a gryphione to me 
That said, I've been reading through others' comments and I agree with *DemonSkylier about the head being a bit small and the left front leg being a bit off, and with *allenmad about the gryphon-like tail, but ~jaiharock 's suggestion of having two tail mutations could be the solution c:
And then again I can't help but agree with *ironheartwriter because I totally like the old lines.

Thanks for being honest. A lot of people have commented about the tail; I'm going to do a little work to see what I can come up with.
The old lines are not my favourite, and so I have the problem of not wanting to work with them, which results in less gryphiones released. ^__^;

I understand c: I know the feeling of having to work with templates that you start to dislike at some point and it certainly doesn't help create new art. If the new lines will mean more gryphiones being released in the future, then by all means bring them on. I've always been fond of gryphiones and I do believe that you've created some amazing ones with the old lines and will miss them, but I'm sure you'll do great with the new lines, as well. This first one looks lovely already.
And all the new lines you've been releasing also show how much your artistic skills have improved and how much the Springs has grown, so you should be proud of yourself!

Nay for me. I prefer the old lines personally. The old lines feel like the perfect mix of a cat/bird to me. The bird's face looks kinda off on the new body to me

I love these lines, omg. The cat tail is really cute, as is the pose. The only thing that I think might need a bit of tweaking is the beak - it's a tiny bit off.
Other than that, love it! I can't wait to get one of these new cuties <333

I like the cat tail actually. Though maybe you could add the gryphon type tail as a mutation? PHIONES are a different breed of gryphon and therefore should have their own look. I personally like this pose because we get a better look at the creature (the back and wings are fully visible and the side of the legs as well). I also like how they are a cute and cuddly. Old Gryphione lines kind of looked foreboding in this sense to me. I vote yay because I believe others got line reworks so why not Phiones too. Btw this girls clouded markings also remind me of my old boy Gypsy

one thing I do have to mention though (sorry for the double comment)
Is that I'm not fond of how you changed the tail, I know that Gryphiones are supposed to be cat-like, and you are trying to portray that, but with the complete tail change you come to the problem of 'old Gryphione tail' and 'new Gryphione tail' if you know what I mean
Plus I personally preferred the more gryphon-like tail :> it made the difference between a small cat-like gryphon species and a cat with a beak and wings.
