You walk carefully, trying not to break the somewhat thin layer of ice that rests on the wetlands. Nerio and Mitch enjoy breaking through it to the cold water below. You throw your string up in the air and a few seconds later you hear a strangled cry. Walking as fast as you dare, you find the source of the cry. It's a young feral avis who has unwisely decided to lick the ice and her tongue is now stuck to it.

Making my way over to the poor little girl who's stuck her tongue on the ice, Mitch, Nerio and I quickly work out a way to get her tongue free with as little pain as possible. It seems to be quite a task for awhile but eventually we work her free without making her tongue bleed..which is quite a feat. As time passes from here on, she hugs me and clings to me for awhile before I decide she's going to need a name. So I turn to Mitch and Nerio, wanting them to choose a name.
After a bit of debate on our parts, it's decided and I turn back to her, petting her gently. "We've come to the decision..that your name will be Tizzy. Sounds a little klutzy, doesn't it? Haha just like you!" She seems to blush and looks a little embarrassed and I just smile and pet her more. "Aaah it's okay. It makes you who you are and I wouldn't want you any other way. You're a really cute little girl, Tizzy." <3
