I toss the toy down to her and follow Dighost back down the way we came. The female lhedis is already squeaking it happily but stops when she hears me shivering. She bounds over to me and rubs my face to help warm me up. I immediately see her unique mutation from the shadows influence. I then start thinking on a name.

She squeaks the toy again and you notice that the whiskers? antennae? seem to move of their own accord...

As I head back to the springs I notice her antennae are quite active and notice her far off stare. Could my beautiful baby be blind? I squeak her chew toy then throw it and watch her search for it. She finds it no problem. So if indeed she has a slight handicap it does not slow her down.
