Hey Riptide! I dunno if this'll affect you at all, but I think you should be a big, strong boy!
Riptide was the name of one of my favorite children stories when I was young! It was about a Golden Retriever named Riptide who was so at one with the ocean that he would go to the beach every day and he pretty much lived there. When the beach owners and citizens would get angry, his owners tried to keep him fenced in in a yard and a lot of other things, but it never worked and he always got free and found his way back to the beach!
Then one day Rip ran out on the beach and the boy that raised him got caught in the tide, and Riptide went out into the water and became one with the tide to pull him back onto shore. When he saved the boy's life, everyone started to realize that Riptide was like a lifeguard for the beach because he'd saved a life, so in the end they let him stay on the beach and he would run up and down the beach and jump in the waves every day and the citizens started to love him.
He stayed at that beach until the day he died. They say he always got free and could never be tamed because he was as wild as the waves themselves, and that when he died he became the waves, free forevermore.
I love the story of Riptide, and I hope you'll become like him. As free as the waves themselves. <3

Because she was still outside of the wisp's hour. Her comment's time stamp says 3:59:59, which is a second shy of 4:00:00.
Just because she had the first claim doesn't mean that she automatically gets it unless her time is proper. If you look at the other wisps you will see this is the case for everyone.

True but the world can't be account for your bad internet connection.? I lost out on some decent pets but like I said there is always next time. Wisps come in groups you can wait till next wisp season, buy a custom one, or wait for the other wisps in this group.
Losing isn't the end just try harder plus there is pet trading. Just saying...

I know. I can see you lamenting it all over the page. There's still hours left. There's one in about 45 minutes and then another an hour after that and an hour after that until...11 her time (which is 10 my time and I have no idea your time zone so I can't say for you but ya).
As the springs said, stop feeling sorry for yourself and keep trying. If you focus on getting the adoptable (but don't worry about attaching yourself to it) then you're more likely to have the timing necessary. It's taken practice at a lot of competitive agencies for me to get as good as I am, and I've been reward copiously for my efforts ^^

Also, keep this in mind. You haven't gotten disqualified for ANY of these. Last year I did. I tried claiming the fireworks wisp before I saw the journal, and got disqualified. It sucked, but I got over it pretty fast because really. Adoptables are NOT that important to life. If your sole purpose in life is to claim a wisp, then you better find something else because you will not find happiness if you claim one. I'm delighted that I got Lyssa, but it's not like I would have been depressed if I hadn't gotten her

Remember that there's plenty of people who also want these, and who also don't have many pets, and so you complaining is looking really bad next to them. Plus, they're getting them while you're not so maybe there's a negative thinking correlation?
