English:Here is the 2nd version of my tool: Random Screensaver.
Random Screensaver breaks the Windows limitation to 1 selected screensaver at time.
Like the background slideshow in Windows 7, Random Screensaver allows you to set several screensavers at once, starting one of them when the computer is inactive.
Random Screensaver works as a screensaver. Select it as your screensaver and it will launch the screensavers you want!
Available in English and French, the language is automatically detected and applied.

Fixed a little bug on the context menuConfiguration needed:
Windows XP*, Vista, 7, 8 (x86 or x64) .Net Framework 2.0 or higher, included in Vista and 7 Internet Explorer may be needed to correctly show the FAQ*XP users won't have language detection and graphics Up/Down buttons

Voici la 2ème version de mon outil: Random Screensaver
Random Screensaver lève la limitation de Windows de 1 écran de veille à la fois.
Comme le diaporama photo de Windows 7, Random Screensaver vous permet de définir plusieurs écrans de veille à la fois, démarrant l'un d'entre eux lorsque l'ordinateur est inactif.
Random Screensaver fonctionne comme un écran de veille. Choisissez-le comme votre écran de veille et il lancera les écrans de veille de votre choix !
Disponible en français et anglais, la langue est automatiquement détectée et appliquée.

For your problem, it seems that something makes my screensaver stops. Which antivirus and/or security software do you use?
Avast caused me some troubles blocking my softwares during a time...

Where are my manners? THANK YOU, that's what I should said before posting my problem. Really SpringsTS, thanks for leave your application for free. I don't have any antivirus installed, the PC has DeepFreeze instead. Random Screensaver it works in the preview and when I double click the .scr, but not when it has to be triggered. Anyway, I wrote a batch file that shuffle a bunch of screensavers, take randomly one, and write to the registry value "SCRSAVE.EXE". I have attached the .bat to an scheduled task and now, every minute (or what else I want) the screensaver is changed. It is working for me now, but you tell me if is not the appropiate way, and if is better to use your software (of course, when we make it run correctly).

That's too much honor
Your script does exactly what my software does, writing in the Registry the value that Windows use to know which screensaver to launch. You can works this way without problem
I will try the soft on my current system to check if I can reproduce the bug and fix it. I'll keep you informed.

Well, I tested Random Screensaver on my system and nothing went wrong... It' like something blocks the soft on your system. Did you try unsinstall/reinstall it?

I'm trying to get in touch with the person who made random screensaver. I have windows xp and running net framework required. I can preview the screensavers from windows, but the preview and setting window is grayed out inyour software. The program will not run so I'm assuming maybe there is a setting I need to change in Random screensaver. Please advise. Thank you

Only one thing - when random screensaver active, screensavers starts normally (randomly of course) but after period of time monitor must go to sleep (i select 20 min in energy saving). With Your tool monitor not sleeps - it just close screensaver...
Maybe problem in my system, not RS, can you check this, please?

Thanx for reply. I found a problem - it's irida(kaspersky) screensaver. It works standalone the same way - don't give display to sleep. When time is to disable monitor, screensaver just closes and return to desktop. It's sad ((((. I like it... Other screensavers works normally. Your program is good!

I've been looking for something like this for weeks!
Here are two thing's I've been trying to figure out:
1. Is there any way I could get more than 8 screensavers?
(I was trying to copy+paste your screensaver in the same folder with a different name. Then I would have each version have 7 unique screensavers + the other copied version of your random screensaver. I couldn't get it to work though, because updating the settings of one of the copied screensavers changes the settings of the other.)
2. Some of my screensavers have music, but I don't want the music to play when my computer falls asleep with itunes on. Is there a way I can get this to turn sound off when itunes is on, and turn sound on when itunes is off?
I would be forever in your debt if you come up with a solution!

You're welcome, glad you like it ^^
1. When I created Random Screensaver, I was still starting to learn all features of Visual Studio. Now I know how to create a list which can contain up to hundreds, thousands lines! (You haven't 100 screensavers to show, are you? XD)
So yes, I will break the limitation in the next version.
2. I don't know. It's recommended to set this setting in the screensaver itself, but sometimes it's not possible. I will see if I can add an option to mute sound when Random Screensaver is active. But this will mute all sounds.
I will update this tool (there already is another option I want to fix), but currently I'm busy with another projects.
Once I update Ribbon Notepad and publish another thing, I will work on Random Screensaver

I had the idea of this tool because I didn't manage to choose between the 2 first screensavers of the preview: Free Fire and Photo 3D.
(The first one make your desktop burning (with music and sound XD), and the second one create a 3D environment, exposing your picture files on the walls, you can even explore it manually, like a game!)

I remember. I had on my very old computer a screensaver called "Budweiser 2000"
You could see on the screen a tavern, where two chameleons were sitting here on chairs and talking something nonsense.
The "higlight" of this screensaver was, that you could move your mouse and you could klick on some tings (the old clock for example) to make an action.

Also, I loved the "Maze" screensaver available in the old Windows 98 and 2000. I managed to recover it in 7, but it doesn't work well (don't support at all multi-screens, and too fast! XD)

Yeah, as I found the options, too I changed the entire maze in rainbow colors which they're always changing their looks. (...it was so weird...xD)
