The boy's looking a little thinner than I would like but I still like it. Here's my main man Elliot. Just another quick one that I will likely redo.ΒOn the right, Harvest Moon Island of Happiness (more literally, Ranch Story The island that grows with you) Β On the left, "Elliot" more closely it is "Eriku" - Eric. How "Eriku" was translated into "Elliot" I'll never know.

Aaaah, a few weeks ago I just playes Island of Happiness again! Elliot is soooo cute!
Sadly, I was playing as a male, so I couldn't marry him. Nuts.Β

When I first started playing, I went for Vaughn and married him (twice) but then I married Pierre (I was desperate for marriage) then I married Shea (twice. He's really sweet) Now I'm aiming for Elliot. I wish that when you marry Elliot, his relationship with Natalie would change for the better. I really love his family and spend most of my time with them. When my sister played, she married Natalie then for the next two or three files she married the witch princess. I have a spare male file and was thinking of Sabrina.Β

Yes, Natalie really loves to teases her little brother. I don't think she means it ill though, but I feel sorry for Elliot.Β
In my male file, I married Julia. But I must admit, all the girls are interesting and I would try to see married life with them all if I had the time.Β

Yeah, Natalie is one of my favorites and I love how Elliot makes comments like about him being her older brother and still having to be there for her even though she's mean. I'm not sure if it was in IOH or SI where Natalie says that she is just trying to toughen him up (ironically it lowers his self-esteem and confidence) I think the two could be really close.
Every HM/SOS games has that one or two non-marriageable character that I want to impress or have them like me. In IOH, it was Felicia. Β In ANB it was Klaus (Hana for my sister)Β

Oh, I really thougt Elliot was the younger brother! I misinterpreted the siblings ages!Β
Well, Natalie means well, but sometimes it can really backfire, especially by someone so insecure as Elliot.Β
I really like the bachelor type of Elliot, but I feel that lately we don't really have the shy boy anymore. I wonder why? Weren't they appealing? I wish they would stop making so many tsunderes though...

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought that Elliot was older either. Personally I like that its the older sibling being teased. I wish Elliot (or any cast member from IOH/SI) would show up in a new game (thought I doubt that will ever happen ;-

Oh, Alisa and Nathan showed up in Tales of two Towns.Β
I heard about Ford. He shall have real interesting character development. But I also heard the characters in 3oT are really well developed and interesting.
I hope we will get the game in Europe... I guess it isn't in the making yet because your publisher is still at work with the DLC.Β

Yeah I had Tale of two towns-then I gave it away... ;( Wish I didn't do that. If I had the chance to play again (and I chose to be a boy) then I would marry Alisa. Dirk from Grand Bazaar shows up in that game too. If I had the option I would honestly marry Nathan if I could. He's not a looker but I tend to like characters that talk about/believe in the harvest goddess.
Hopefully in less than a year, everything will be out.Β

I love it when a character reappears in a new game and talks about their town/family in the previous game.

Even if it is a bit awkward, if you married them in the previous game and it feels like they let your character hanging.

My sister married the witch princess in IOH then SI and was planning on marrying her in ANB (but fell for Iroha) she also had plans on marrying her in DS (but due to bugs in the game she can't) she commented that she felt like the witch princess married her then she died of old age and she had to move on and it made her feel sad.Β
Yeah, if a character you married reappears as a bachelor, it kinda makes you wonder about their secret family with you back in another town.

The witch princess actually makes sense cause she is living thousand of years.Β
Oh yes, HM DS was a glitchy mess. In the EU version they took out some features, so it wasn't that bad, but there were still plenty of glitches left. I once got stuck outside of my farm and was panicking until my farmer got to bed on his own! Phew!
Marrying the witch princess in DS wasn't an easy feat... you had to things like fainting 100 times and kill off 50 animals and such things. Phew...
On a side note, EU finally got a release date for 3oT, the 13th of october! Only half a year after north america! Cool!

Yeah, before my sister went for Muffy in DS, she was planning on the Witch but when she read she'll have to kill off her animals it was a no-go.Β

Yes, but I don't know if it is physical or digital only. I would prefer physical so I can record some episodes of it for my youtube channel. But I'll take what I'll get.
I can understand that your sister backed out because of that. I felt terrible in HM DS after one of my stables collapsed and buried my chickens in it. Or in HM64 where I forgot to put the animals in and a hurricane hit and killed all my chickens!

Oh yes, in DS my barn collapsed after a storm and killed my only cow. Then I went to talk to people (like usual, with love bangle equipped) and found everyone's friendship points dropped drastically! I felt like I was being punished for acts of nature.Β

Yes, same for me. I was at read heart with Lumina and she dropped to orange! Argh!

Yeah, all the girl's hearts dropped down, Flora and Celia from yellow to green, Muffy back to blue, Lumina to Pink and Nami never left black. All my friends dropped too. Someone (I can't remember who) lost over 100 FP!

In HM DS, I have everything in stone. Stone is pretty safe, it rarely collapses.Β

I just rebuilt a barn in stone. I plan on building everything else in stone. I'm worried about the chickens already in the lumber coop though.Β
