Thought I would try Skye out and draw him. I was using some photos of my sister in a kimono as references and I could only think of Skye or Rock in that pose. But Skye won out. It was fun but I was never to be satisfied with it so I just decided to end it and move on. One day I may retry this.Related content

I never got DS cute cause it didn't release in Europe. So I never met Skye.

Yeah, I think the kimonos came out well but only because I had a reference to use.
As for Skye, he tends to be very well liked (actually he's the most popular bachelor by a longshot) but I personally wouldn't say you are missing too much. Yeah I like having more characters but I don't find him specifically appealing like others do.
It's too bad DScute was never released! On the bright side, except for some additional random events and some other things (like clothes/ house wallpapers and the ability to have a female child + if you connect a copy of MFoMT then the bachelors from MT can live with you after marriage whereas in DS if you propose to a MT girl, you will get married but the game will start over and the marriage won't be saved.) I haven't noticed many differences.
Well, except the storyline is a little different. Rather than Pete wandering in on a argument between the Witch and Goddess and the Goddess being turn to stone, Pony is just a lazy bum who's mother had to beg the harvest goddess to help her. But it doesn't work and the harvest king and the goddess get into an argument and he turns her to stone.
And there are less bugs.
But mainly everything else is the same.

I think I would marry Gustafa in a heartbeat in DS Cute. He's just such a cute and free character. And finally a character with a beard.
Well, the european version of DS was heavily cut, the FoMT thing didn't work and MFoMT wasn't released here either and they cut out the gambling from the sprites (only the memory game was left) and that you can level up the milker and stuff. Makes it really a core to play this game.
Well, Pete was a lazy bum too I think. He gets called out by Mayor Thomas in the beginning.
It is nice that it has less bugs at least. DS was a festival of glitches.

The only thing I can think of that was cut from the North American version of DScute (I can't think of anything for DS) was the Best Friend system where Pony can marry one of the special girls. Except it isn't marriage-despite having to complete the marriage requirements including heart events-they're just "friends". Also once you have your "best friend" you can't marry a bachelor.

Yep, I heard this too. They apparently couldn't have lesbian relationships in the game. Even though there is nothing wrong with that.
