A little messy (very) I thought I would try something new.My wifie Celia.
I kind of gave up towards the end but I think this was a good experiment.

She is. Personality wise, I like Muffy more but Celia is just so...! I don't know. She's that HM spouse that is the true wife. Like there are multiple people I have married in many games and they are all that when I am playing THAT game but Celia is my girl no matter the game. Ya know?

Yeah, she doesn't feel as fleshed out in 64 imo... and you can get her into depression for a while if you let Ellen die. But after that, she comes back with a better personality I think.

Let Ellen die?? My sister hasn't gotten that far in the game (we bought it a few-possibly 3-years ago and forgot we had it) I just looked it up and gave her a warning. Knowing my sister, if Ellen died, she'd start her file over. In FoMT, when Cliff left, she started her file over just to make him stay the next time.

Oh sorry, I wasn't aware that you didn't know that. HM64 is so old so I thought everything about it was an open book. But in this case, it was good to spoil it, so that your sister can avoid it.
I have a few BTN files where Cliff left tbh. In my first I didn't know how to make him stay and in the one where I married Ann I wanted the rival to go away.

Marlin in the only rival that I feel joy when he sees me with his love interest. It's probably because he told me to stay away from Celia or else...

Marlin is a real jerk if you marry Celia. He is clearly in love with her, but aren't they also related somehow? I forgot if Celia is Vesta's niece or something. I am pretty sure, Marlin is Vesta's little brother.

I don't believe they are related though she does refer to Vesta as "aunt" sometimes. But that may be affectionate. But Marlin is Vesta's younger brother.

Yeah, probably. I am just so used to HM characters all are being related somehow. That was especially the case in 64. Karen and Cliff were related in that for example.

Yeah, I really like it when there are many families members in a game. Also I like it when there are definite friend groups.

Story of Seasons 3oT does this pretty well with the group of friends. I really enjoy to see the different cliques hanging out together.

Yes, SOS is a great example. I was impressed by the sense of community in the game in a matter of seconds of playing. I like how you can see a group of people hanging out but two people in the group are closer friends. I think that is realistic in a group of friends that certain people are better friends than other member of the group.
