it's hard to do, believe me o.o
if i get stuck of design something (like the tree)
i look for a base-design on the internet
i redesign and recolour stuff allover the place
the program I use, is Paint (THE oldest program there is)
if you want some fantastic spritewebsites to pratice on, i'll send it to ya (later now, cause i'm online on the internet in France for a vacation)

Matt: also the part of going to my world is closer to distortion of a small part of yours which will return to normal in an hour or so.
