Some of you may know my poor old kitty passed away recently. I miss her dearly, and felt it was only right to draw her a tribute for the twenty-one years she spent with me.This is a small collection of my memories with her and it's a very personal thing to me, so please no harsh critics.
EDIT: Thanks so much for the DD and so many sweet comments on a subject that is obviously very sensitive to me. I really appreciate it.

Well.. I lost my two dogs two... I was crying my guts out. But they are alive, just they don't live with me anymore D:

i know how you feel, when i lost my cat i cried so hard, i was depressed for a while,
now we have a new cat and she's just the most adorable cat ever and i'm the only one
she can endure, i can hug her, pick her up, put her on my lap, if anyone else tries it
she just refuses ^^
but sadly, i'm moving away for college so i'll only see her on the weekends, i'll miss her -_-

Hehe yeah I moved in with my boyfriend a few months ago, and decided to take my cats with me! It's different when you go away for college though, they usually don't allow pets

She was, I got her when I was two years old so she always felt a bit like a little sister to me haha. Guess that's what made it so difficult for me in the end, but I'm recovering now!

I once had an awesome cat of my own too but it's currently deceased due to some sort of life-threatening disease...probably due to letting it outside too many times.

I think it's absolutely amazing. I love the symbolism, as well as the expression on her face. I personally saw how you evolved from being heartbroken, until being able to look back at the great times you had together with a little bit of a smile on your face. This drawing captures that feeling, and might help you with coping just a little bit more.
Also, this drawing will help us to remember Iggy, and the fun times we had with her.
The most emotion-loaded piece you ever did, and I think you did a great job capturing those difficult feelings.

thanks. they were a 12 year old poodle and an 18 year old black lab. they were both very old for their breeds and they were both going deaf and blind. we spoiled them rotten, so they had good happy lives.
