If you practice on removing noise in photoshop ( or another software ) And sharpen up a bit.
Then pictures like this will be great! Keep up the good work

This is really pretty. I love the sharpness on some of the drops and how they seem to glow. The intense green of the leaf really stands out. Beautiful work.

Is there some kind of knack to getting drops to sit on a leaf? Each time I try it they just kinda bleed into the leaf and it gets all wet - yuk! Maybe I'm just using the wrong kind of leaves

...mmm... I use a dropper too but sometimes the drop just doesn't stay in place. Maybe some leaves are just more suitable than others I guess some are just more waxy/hairy/shiney/absorbant

yeah, or look for one that is very slightly cupped.
