Created as part of a book cover design for my Illustration class.

This is an original cover design for the existing novel, Redwall by Brian Jacques. It depicts a climactic scene during the book where the central character, Matthias, confronts the fearsome adder, Asmodius, in order to retrieve the sword of Martin the Warrior.

This is the third stage of the assignment, a color rendering in acrylics. This is my second attempt using acrylic. I tried a slightly different approach with this one.
