Why did you use Mau instead of Pepsa?Because Maulmon is my first digimon I ever made, and even though her name and appearance she is my first. I made her when I was 10 so around the year 2000.

Sadly to say these are the oldest pictures of Mau I can find, her original from was just a black cat with white angle wings, As well her original name was "CatAnglemon" I think. Ugh, I wasn't all that creative when I was 10.
Anyway Maulmon only difference to her 2009 self is her wings, besides that she still the same.
Her Champion form is not the same as her 2009 self though.

What's the story behind the black jumpsuit one? I like how the later sketches appear to have some more personality to them, though to be fair the earlier stuff looks like references. I really like the shift from standard bird wings to magical glowing things, simplifies the design and gives her a more mystical feeling. There's also a clearer indicator of strengthening between Mau's rookie and later form, as the wing's go from rounded and stubby to long and slender. This visual is apparent in the previous incarnation but much more visually appealing in the later rendition.

not sure, just something random I came up with when trying to draw her a champion. Thank you, I gave those wings to Maumon and Meepmon so I decided Maulmon should have them too.
