First of all, the colors of the sky are absolutely amazing! You have such a wonderful variety, from dark red to blue, with this stunning golden clouds in the middle. However, the covered structure below attenuates the effect due to its dull grey color. It is indeed difficult to obtain a nice color for foreground elements in sky shots, but there are solutions.
One simple solution is to exclude those elements from the shot, and focus on the sky only (by moving around or lifting your camera). Variations could be from complete elimination of the foreground, to just a thin line to put the sky in perspective, but much thiner than here and with more space allowed under the main element (the cloud here). The elements of key importance need to "breathe".
Another solution is to use a tripod (or you can use a tree or whatever for support) and make two photos: one with the sky well exposed, and another one with the foreground well exposed. Then, you would blend the two pictures in Photoshop (using layers. Here is a tutorial about the use of layers in nature shots: [link] and there are more on DA.) In the end, the foreground will look natural and detailed. (But of course, it has to be an interesting foreground if you want a perfect shot, and compositional considerations such as how much space you allow for each element still apply).
A third solution is to use the foreground elements for dramatic silhouettes. This works best with trees that would frame the sun, or with people - i.e. with objects that are seen against the sky. There are no such elements here, but I mention this just as an idea for the future Of course, you can combine the last two solutions.

Beautiful Looks vaguely like an explosion
But no the colours are lovely and it looks really in contrast to that building or whatever it is

I can imagine it must have looked very good.
I like the rays and the combination of gray-golden colors. The focus is good and the proportions are again fine. I don't know what to say about the lower part of the picture (beneath that construction). It's not exactly a silhouette and not clear either. I think it would be a good idea to correct that so that the viewer can focus on a just one thing in the picture: the rays.
In conclusion, I do appreciate the shot and find it positively nice. I look forward to your next ones
