"You wanna see a dead bod-- I mean, you wanna sneak into Perky’s place?”
I wanted to do something to do with where exactly Perky lives in her city for a long time, eventually I narrowed it to the idea of someone or a few people sneaking into the place. Winding up in her evening snack or trapped while she was asleep were options I sketched up. I went for an 80′s adventure, Stand by Me approach. I thought it would be the most interesting option doing it from a boy’s perspective here, it makes everyday life seem more grandiose and Perky herself larger than life itself.
