I plan to make a Ghost in The Shell SAC wallpaper.Haven't watched the series yet but the game on the PS2 was really fun so I might get the box set.
That aside, this is a fan art picture, I guess its called Indy Art here.
I drew this based on the Scan that I got from Minitokyo.

aw, i just hope its not like evangelion. where the ending was soooooooooo sucky that it ruined the entire series
