Taken at JFK-airport in New York City 1996, waiting for my flight back to europe - a mixture of joy and sorrow, getting back to friends and family in Germany, leaving other friends in the US.Related content

I don't know why, but my favorite part of this photo is the plane that is taking off in the top left corner.

That's exactly the same with me. More than the plane in front of the camera the little one far away in the sky symbolizes the moment of leaving to me, like a foreshadowing. I'm glad that you care for the small details.
