Hey, outstanding picture. I have been experimenting with black and white lately and was wondering if you could tell me how you achieved such rich tones. Whether by a polarizer or red filter, or another technique. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well actually I almost never use any kind of filter, especially my polarizer since I think it's reducing the image quality (sharpness to be more precise), but that may depend on the kind of filter you use. I always take color-pictures (no build-in black/white mode in the camera) which I convert to b/w later in Photoshop.
