Fakirrrrrrrr.I really wanted to draw him reading and while writing down notes at the same time. Haha. I don't know why.
I think he's my second favorite character in Princess Tutu after Ahiru. He really grew on me! Which I guess is not surprising. xD

Not to rain on the party or anything. I mean your shading and colors look great and the book looks awsome (I can't draw inanimate objects very well) but, um are you okay with a little critique?

Yeah! I am totally fine with critiques. I don't really take my fanart too seriously but I've been drawing a lot lately (I go through periods of drawing a bunch or not drawing at all) so any sort of tip or critique is definitely appreciated!

Hiss hand seems a bit off. when I see people holding pens they way the fingers look is different. I lingk you should look at hands a little more. just a little suggestion.

How can anyone not like Fakir (erm, of course after the first, say, 10 episodes? 
You did a great job on the pose, making it natural and spontaneous and the organic colours and shades are well chosen, as well as his eyes. Dear me, what is our boy studying now?

Thanks so much for the comment! All the warmer tones are due to editing since it looks better than my original version thanks to my scanner killing some of the colors. D: And I think his eyes were my favorite things to draw in this picture.

You're welcome! The hand looks awkward? Nah! It actually looks closer to a human hand b/c it's much rounder compared to the classic anime hand.
