This is one of my favorite pics of my Ahiru cosplay and I don't know why it wasn't in this gallery yet!But now it is. So it's all good.
But seriously, I love the colors of this photo and the cherry blossoms in the foreground and the ducks in the background! xDDD .../dork
This is version 1 of this costume. (Newer photos of this costume are in this and other cosplay galleries of mine.)
I made this cosplay back in March for the cherry blossom shoot. It looks pretty good in this picture but overall I didn't like how the skirt turned out and how it looked in many other pics. I had the hardest time working with the crinoline under the skirt. I think it's a good idea but I didn't execute it very well and just went with regular petticoats for my later version.
I also got better shoes since then too. These ones were old and uncomfortable and I couldn't order new ones in time. (Which is unfortunate because FUN FACT I had a small fracture on one of my toes at the time. D: )
But despite these problems it was my first time cosplaying as Ahiru and I had a bunch of fun and got a lot of nice pics with my buddy Karen as Fakir!

Do you mean the girls' uniform or the boys'? If I were going to sell the girl one, I'd probably say $75-$100. Maybe closer to $75. I mean, I wouldn't sell this one specifically but if I had to put a price on it, that's what I'd say.

Oh I'd be the same way. This was a small fracture (and I didn't get it properly treated so it still hurts once in a while...) and I was limping around like crazy. Haha~

Personally, Fakir is one of my favorite characters from the anime. XD Especially after he finds out that Duck is really Princess Tutu, AND that she can turn into a duck. :'D His cutesy little blushing face is so priceless.

I became really endeared to him too! He's my second favorite, very closely after Duck.

I think my favorite episode is....well, I don't know the name. xD It's shortly after Mytho starts acting strangely because of the Raven's blood in his heart. You meet the mini-Miss Aidle (that says 'zurra' all the time. She's sooooo cute!!!!). They're outside Fakir's house, talking, and something startles Duck. And when she changes back he's hiding behind the corner. xDDD And then inside, and he looks like he's trying to fuse his face with the wall. Poor Fakir. He's so cute when he's embarrassed, though!!
Haha, I have the show on DVD. :'D I love the bloopers they sometimes have at the end. xDDDDDD
