Very good! What is particularly amazing is that this is better than most work done by people who already know what steampunk is!
Incidentially, Steampunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction. It concerns works set in the past, or a world
resembling the past, in which modern technological paradigms occurred earlier in history, but were
accomplished via the science already present in that time period. Fantasy and science fiction steampunk is
becoming more and more prevalent, with a mix of fantastical creatures, steam powered creations,
punch card computers and science based magic. If you have an interest, some very good examples are
authors like China Mieville and Jeff Vandermeer. And yes, most Final Fantasy is generally considered to be
steampunk.

This seems to be the good kind of abstract art to me. It seems to fit with the title. Cool image too. Good work as usual.

For some reason I get a very final fantasy feel from this, maybe it's the title and how they have used steam powered technology in some of the games (FF3 I believe). Anyhow very nice, I especially dig the chains.

Damn, there was the word 'steampunk' in it, so I *had* to look...
I have this feeling of odd machinery... seen through a blurred glass maybe? I'm still trying to figure out details that I know can't be seen due to the drawing style in itself. And the two red spots make me think of some somrt of robotic head getting out of the structure... a mechanical face, maybe? Leaves room to imagination, when knowing the steampunk genre

Never heard of steampunk. Nice work though. Calming in mood, but with focus in action... seems well balanced in color. Looks to be flying or possibly falling, like swooping down to kill someone.

Steampunk is good. Me likes steampunk...
How do you make these images anyway? They're really great. Do you use painter? It do not seem like it's done in Photoshop to me...
