Where did you learn like Digital Painting?

it's mostly self-taught, but I think traditional painting classes help a lot. you really lern the basics of painting, then you can apply it to digital.

Wonderful picture, everything looks just right but his scars seem very weak.
Granted, he scars have made me terrified to look at his face, I just feel like everything else is so well textured and detailed and then his scars are extremely minor. They are almost not there even.
