Description

You know I’ve really gotten into something when I decide to draw them as ponies. So here's some characters of Star Vs the Forces of Evil ponified.

I don’t like Star’s face but it’s hard drawing pony faces straight on. Anyway yeah, I suck at cutie marks, hence Marco’s being hidden and Tom being a blank flank (or maybe demon ponies don’t even have them) but that’s about it, otherwise I like how this turned out.

Enjoy.

*busts out laughing so hard* This is a riot!! I love it!! And honestly I could easily see Tom's Cutiemark just being "Flames" or a "Volcano" without a question, while Marco's I could see being a "Plate of Nachos"(LOL Jk) , A "broken Board", a simple "Knoted karate belt" or even literally a "Yin Yang" symbol since not only is that a good karate symbol, but he was actually also able to help Tom keep his cool in that one episode when they were hanging out.

ye giving Marco a peaceful type symbol would probably work well. As for Tom I see him as not quite a pony, in the same way that zebras and donkeys in the MLP verse aren't ponies, so he just doesn't have a cutie mark. I'm sure he doesn't mind.

It just seemed to make sense for Marco, and no biggie on Tom those were just the first two to come to mind. XD

Honestly, So many of my online friends watch MLP that my friends in real life are starting to question my gender!

that's pretty dumb of them to question someone's gender over a cartoon they like, and ever worse for them to question someone who's FRIENDS like something that they might not even have anything to do with. geeze
I think I had to deal with that when I was younger for liking Spyro but I ignored those kinds of people so nothing ever came of it.

I know! It's like the police arresting the cousin of the murderer. But I suppose they just wanted an excuse to laugh.
Spyro? The purple dragon who roasted yaks? Why would they mock you for liking Spyro? You're female, And it's not exactly a "Manly" game.

ikr
and Idk maybe it wasn't Spyro but I have vague memories of there being SOMETHING I was into when I was younger and people made jokes about me wanting to be a boy, but I was just like "Whatever" and didn't give them the satisfaction of a response. I can't remember what it was though.

I'm usually the "Meh, Let the baby have the bottle" kind of person in such situations.
Your reaction was very mature, Few people have such capabilities.

Yeah. And as a kid I didn't care what people thought of me so that was why I behaved that way. Probably because of my upbringing, I was told not to pay attention to such things so I didn't.

I like that in a person. Few people have the will power to do what they enjoy and not care what others think. I remember an old cartoon from the former Yugoslavia. It was about a man walking down the street, With everyone mocking his posture, And "correcting" him, Telling him how to walk. This went on for some time, And finally the man punches the next person in the mouth, Knocking him unconscious, And starts walking the same way he was at the very beginning, With the people leaving him alone. A beautiful cartoon piece, If I say so myself.

yeah Idk why I never cared, I just didn't. And then I got older and got the intelligence to understand why I shouldn't care, so I kept on not caring. :V
And that's amazing, lol

Whatever the reason, You did, And continue to do, the right thing. To quote one of our professors (Which I have turned into my signature here): "You will see all sorts of people who think they're linguists after reading roughly two pages of pseudo-science. you cannot, And don't have to, convince everyone, Laugh at their stupidity instead".

Indeed it is! It won't replace "Pat and Mat" though, That show is priceless.

That's a pretty on point statement.
Never watched it.

Indeed it is, The man is a genius. I've seen so many Turks thinking their language is in anyway related to ancient Sumer that I have utter faith in that statement.
You should, It's great. I think you can find some episodes on youtube.
