This piece reminds me a lot of I am legend...
Sadly though, that movie was too predictable for any true horror; I was laughing during all of the "scary" scenes, (where he ventures into the "zombie lair")..
It was too retarded to be scary.

Try the book. Much better, and not a crack pot ending that makes everything all neat and pretty.
Also...in the book they are vampires (not fast zombies) who are people who are still very affected by their psychologies.
