Description
Carved into woodblock, and printed using specialised printing inks. Using quite possibly the oldest. crappiest. printing press ever, I might add.Third of a series of six.
Inspiration/reference/theme is Maori (New Zealand ethnicity) and the word "aroha" is Maori for "love". The whole piece is highly symbolic, each detail pertaining to a different aspect of Maori culture and heritage, blah blah blah. I just liked doing the mountains

Wow thats the most detaild and intricate woodcut i have seen, beautiful. Is that mountain in the middle a particular mountain?

It took about two months to make the wood block for the print lol. But that's probably because I'm lazy
