This is a shrunken head I carved for a good freind of mine.He is carved from basswood and is 3" by 3" by 3" and is painted with a acrylic wash,let me know what ya think..........Related content

where do you buy the materials, wood, little screw thing at the top, polish (idk if you use any), and the paints? (also what kind of paint)

I buy my wood from TreelineUSA in Provo,Utah.The little brass hook at the top at Lowe's or Home Depot and I usually use ceramacoat acrylics at michael's and usually do the paint in a light wash,the consistancy of watercolors so the woodgrain shows through.I hope this helps give me a holler if you have anymore questions.

...and just a hint...but ummm ... Older men should try and stay away from terms like "shrunken head" just so you don't invite unnecessary subconscious depression. You prolly want to avoid all words that denote or represent "loss of head" ...like "guillotine" or "decapitation"
..that way you stay cheerier and get more creative stuff done....
