The secrets tricks catching your animals snoozing are:
1) Mask the noise you make. Go somewhere slighty noisy. The park where this was taken can be quite busy, and there is a noisy fountain in the lake.
2) Get them tired by letting them fetch thrown toys.
3) Ingnore them completly for a while, this causes there activity detectors to deactivate slightly.
