The cosplay is good, but the archery technique isn't correct. Your body is leaning too far back- it should be straight. The hand that pulls the string should be resting by the chin, so that the string brushes your lips. Your arm that holds the bow should be more-or-less straight and in line with the other arm.

I fully agree. Being an Archer myself I am aware of posture etc however the bow is a prop and is not actually capable of being pulled back in the same way as a fully functional weapon, to draw it back any further would result in it snapping. Also if I was to pull back efficiently I would have my drawing hand resting underneath my chin. Thank you so much for taking the time to critique. Most cosplayers do not learn the crafts of their characters, however I decided to combine the two.Ā

Have you considered that this is a prop bow, looking at the bow would clearly show it was designed for cosplay, not for real use. I'm sure the cosplayers real intention was to show off the character, rather than the bow and archery techniques.
