Description Benny the monkey's banana milk <3
Mop the yeti's strawberry cake <3

These are just hard plastic charms i was experimenting
with. I need to find a better gloss to put over the top of
them.. so they are waterproof and glossy :3 at the
moment i'm using embossing powder but it's a bit messy..

Practice makes per-.. well maybe not perfect, but better! (:

(PS. I know i need to get a better camera.. the photo's
are really horrible @__@)

embossing powder is what I use, but it takes practice to get it nice

ohh thanks heaps
i was using embossing powder aswell but i didnt think the quality was very good, because when i put the charms back in the oven to melt it they curl a little bit D: and you have to get the powder on the whole charm~
its a bit awkward ^^"

there are tricks to it :3

tricks?
;o; ohh i guess i dont know those haha~

when they are finished shrinking i take them out and press them down with my book so they flatten xD
they are fine then~ but yeah ;o; cooking them with the embossing powder curls them a bit.
it's a bit sticky, especially if you get a tiny little hair in there or something xD!

In Parra Westfield there's a new art shop called Riot. They have a resin that would probably do the trick but I'm not too sure how to work it properly. It makes them glossy and waterproof and would probably make them durable.

I always had difficulty with the spray kind, I always got a few teeny air bubbles and it bugged me. And after a while the sealer...starts cracking! I need a better one too.

thankyou!!
hehe :3 yeahh yumm.. mop's favourite ^3^

there's some tutorials around on deviantart, just type in plastic charms and you should get a few ^__^ hehe
but what you do is buy shrink plastic, and print out your designs on it, cut them out, put them in the oven and they shrink and become hard xD and wallah!
