Description
Had myself a little "art jam" of sorts on my last night visiting WA, drew this as a result. Man, I hadn't drawn Venusaur since I was like... 10 or something? Was never a favorite of mine until recently; Veusaur has really grown on me in the last year or so.This took FOR-EV-ER to color. I forgot how much fun coloring traditionally could be, but I also forgot how much work it can be!
Edit: for those wondering, I inked this with colored Staedtler triplus fineliners, and colored it with Crayola colored pencils and markers :3

Amazing use of tone, there! I also love the blue outlines; it's a very nice touch (:
And yes, traditional art is soooo much fun, but it is a lot of work lol. So worth it, though.

I think this is the only time i've ever thought venasaur was cool. I honestly thought it was impossible to make him a likeable pokemon. Nice work!

Alright, just alright how in the world did you end up making such a master-piece with such excuse my language "elementary" tools?
I've tried the same but-but I just, I'm speechless this is absolutely gorgeous! The colors blend so smoothly and the shading is superb!
Crayola, who would have thought...I guess this really goes to show that it's ultimately the artist that determines the end-result and you've
really demonstrated that! I love your extra details too, The water droplets and all, so Venasaur-like...
I guess the only thing I guess would be too add a cast shadow, hehe art class has taught me that too well...it looks great without it, lol I'm just always asked to use cast shadows with everything...x3

epic! verry epic!!! hey, question, are the colored staedtler triplus fineliners kinda work like sakura pigma micron pens? i over lapp the pencile or pen in my comics with microns, but never a full size drawing before, and those pens look interesting and made this pic look verry badass. i wanna see if i can find some of those type of pens, but i dont know the quality or if im working with the same thing, got any tips?
