The Birthday Massacre's Nothing and Nowhere album will always be one of my favorites, very rarely have I felt the feelings I feel when I listen to it. It is absolutely magical and beautiful, and it takes me to a place where dreams and imagination are all that there is.

The old website that was up when that album was first out was really amazing, and you can still see it here . I love the color scheme and aesthetics they used there and on the album.

I thought those themes would translate really well into a gothic lolita look, since the style embodies a lot of the themes in TBM's music, such as childhood and innocence. I wanted the girl to look like Chibi, but she's a bit like me too- she and I are both dark haired girls who love to wear pigtails.
