One day, the red star became a comet and left the group.
The green star became very sick and died.
The blue star floated away from the purple star.
The stars left their purple friend all alone.
Purple star tried to keep the sky in balance, and with help from other stars, they did.

It's because of how Matt is pretty much the only person left from the Original Eddsworld Crew becauseΒ
-Tord was the first one to leave back when Edd was still around, and he left and when into hiding because he didn't want the attention that he was getting from fans...
-Edd passed away from Cancer in 2012... ;~;Β
-Tom stuck around but then said once they finished The End Parts 1 and 2, that he was going to leave the Eddsworld Crew. (Tom was also very uncomfortable with the whole TomTord shipping thing since, he had problems with Real life Tord and he just found it to be creepy I guess.)Β
-Matt is still working on Eddsworld stuff like Comics and what not but is having a hard time because some 'fans' keep saying rude things to his Wife.Β
So in other words it's just Matt left out of the main 4... ;~;
