Description Precious oxygen erupted from the sudden wound in the hull, dragging with it the trappings of a calm life.
The star shone upon her back as she clawed at her helmet, straining to pull it on as life support all across the ship drained into the abyss, her lifeline to the ship naught but a crate gripped by her comrade.
Lifeless bodies floating aimlessly in the void beyond served to strengthen her will, a reminder of the duty she swore to uphold.

The Grey - Into The Fray

So... I've got a lot to say about this.
If your comment is anything about realism (or lack there-of), it's getting removed. I'm well aware of what details would happen during decompression that isn't happening here.

Painting in the very simple stardusted background and the primary star reminded me that I actually haven't done anything substantial with space art in quite some time.
So... I may be doing much more with it in the days to come.

I've been slowly working on a revamped edition of my previous model release, the "Dead Space 2 Security Girls;" really just female versions of Dead Space 2's security suit (and its respective variants), with a variety of characters attached.
The previous build included the following, but lacked proper IK and eye support for Source Filmmaker:

Claire "Lightning" Farron, Oerba Yun Fang -- Final Fantasy XIII
Lady Marion Hawke --Dragon Age II
Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield -- Resident Evil (5)
Samus Aran -- Metroid: Other M
Kathryn -- Singularity
Wraithcat (a friend)

This new build will feature SFM IK and eye support for all of the following characters, revamped shaders, and HWM-compliant flexes for those marked with a *:
(I more than likely will not be going back to re-do the flexes for the old heads or the Annas, because it would simply be entirely too much of a pain in the ass.)

Anna -- Metro: Last Light
Anna Grimsdottir -- Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Zoey* -- Left 4 Dead
Lara Croft*, Joslin Reyes* -- Tomb Raider (2013)
Sarah Kerrigan* -- Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
Faith Connors* -- Mirror's Edge
Trishka Novak* -- Bulletstorm

Work is slow (because I'm a lazy bastard), but it'll be done eventually.

How long have you been making gmod pics for? Just wondering.

I've been doing things with GMod for around eight years now, but only been doing these sorts of shots for the past two or three, especially with this sort of editing.
But I've been playing with Photoshop for nearly twelve years.

Each time my ability... "levels up" as it were, it's because I've been paying particular attention to it and working especially hard after taking a good break from it.
It's good to practice, but practice too much and you won't find the progress you're after until you're sick of it; you've gotta take rests too.
Dedication just means that you will return to it once you're ready to.

Hm.

I've only been at this for about 2 or so years. And I just got photoshop earlier this year but i've been using gimp before then.

I've been getting better visibly but most times I get

Well

Stuck

Like I don't know what to improve on

I don't know what I should do better

Start with whatever you're most unhappy with, look at how other people do that, and then try to do it like them.

I guess I could get better at lighting and glow effects

Since my lighting is usually bad

Sounds like a good place to start. Just work on one thing at a time.
