You could say that...my brain has been disfunctional lately ever since I bought that Ernst Haeckel book Art Forms from the Ocean. It was an impulse buy too...gaaaaaahhhhhhhhh! Now my budget is shot!

I don't exactly know how long it takes for me to do a pen and ink drawing since it's like a start and stop schedule, and sometimes, when I get tired of one piece, I start another. The size of the work could also affect the length of time.

For this drawing, I used the usual suspects: Microns(005, 01, 02) and Staedtlers with a Zig calligraphy pen for some of the lines. I also used an Xacto knife on the large inked parts. I still have to get around to Rapidographs, but I like microns, staedtlers, and crowquills much better.
