Description An albino swallow in La Selva, Costa Rica. I saw this guy on a boat trip I went on with the rest of the class, and the guide was freaking out and saying he's never seen one of these guys before, and he made us take lots of pics to email him.

There was a lot of this strange neon pink glow that I edited out in Photoshop, just so you guys know. Man, that stuff is a bitch to get rid of D:

There's another pic of this guy in my scraps here [link]

Great find, the nearest I've come to anything like that was finding a hedgehog in my rubbish bin (it had apparently been hibernating in a pile of leaves and been swept into a black plastic bag, which it had apparently eaten on its way out). Anyway, considering that the subject presented itself rather than being something one could take one's time over, I think the composition and image quality is amazing.

Wow. Just wow.
Love the composition (and the fact that you got such an amazing shot of such a rare creature)
You obviously win.

And I'd like to thank the birdies for allowing the possibility for such composition in the first place

Wildlife shots tend to require a certain degree of cooperation from your models.

I love the composition of the two dark ones with the light one. It looks awesome!

The glow is probably from the bird. Realistic explaination would be the glare of the lgiht form its body might cause image distortion or color distortion. Unrealistic explaination?

the Bird is either A: Radioactive or B: the Arbiter in an avian guise

Either way its a NIFTY pic!

Heehee, I like the radioactive theory the best, so I think we should go with that one. Thanks for the favs!
